Mocktail Mixology with Bombay Pop!

  • Muddy River Herbals 2468 Washington Street Canton, MA, 02021 United States (map)

Join us on October 10th for a delightful dip into the pleasures of mixology on our farm in Canton, MA. This workshop will feature the South Asian flavors of artisanal and Boston-based soda company Bombay Pop, along with an abundance of seasonal and locally grown ingredients (and a few more from further afield). Bombay Pop’s founder, Priyanka Karandikar-Norton, will do a tasting of her three delectable sodas, Jenny will demonstrate the basics of mixology and mix drinks to enjoy on the spot, and everyone will have a chance to experiment their own concoctions. Register Here!

This workshop will take place outdoors. In the event of inclement weather it will be moved to October 12th. Our field can be challenging to find, so please refer to the directions that will be emailed to you prior to the class.

ABOUT BOMBAY POP:

Bombay Pop is a line of Indian-inspired fruit sodas made with real fruit juice, natural flavors, and cane sugar. Their beverages are 100% plant-based, made without preservatives, and can be enjoyed on their own or used as cocktail and mocktail mixers. Their three flavors—Breezy Orange-Mosambi, Golden Mango, and Wild Jamun—are non-alcoholic and do not contain caffeine. You can read more about them here!

ABOUT THE OWNER:

Priyanka Karandikar-Norton grew up in Dahanu, India, surrounded by fruits native to her hometown and flavors that were “simple, vibrant, and deeply familiar.” When she moved to Bombay Priyanka found those flavors of her childhood transformed into fresh juice sold on street corners. After moving to the U.S. and falling in love with sparkling drinks she felt “pulled to bring these experiences together; to create something that honored where I came from while reflecting where I am today,” and that is exactly how Bombay Pop came to be.
